School Closing:  For snow and other emergency closings, listen to the radio or TV for an announcement.  Do not call the school office.  The superintendent makes the decision whether or not school will be open, closed, or operating on a delayed schedule.  If no announcement is made, school is open as usual.  Catholic schools do not close according to the decision of Jefferson County Public Schools.  For a delayed schedule, St. Pius X  School doors will be open at9:00, and homeroom begins at9:20.  Classes will begin at9:30.  Students should not be dropped off early as there will be no adult supervision.
