MINUTES –
Meeting was called to order at
Bob Zimlich gave a financial report with discussion held afterward. Fr. Chuck advised he will be sending a letter to all parish members on October 5 with a new stewardship pledge form attached. He further advised that there will be a mandatory meeting for all school parents, and other members of the parish can attend also. All parishioners will need to fill out a new pledge form. The deadline to turn in the pledge forms is October 23.
Terry Crawley asked that we get more timely information to avoid mistakes on accounting. Kelly Collard stated we need to decide if we are going to be a stewardship or tuition school before registration. Carolyn Zierer advised that there is currently a $50 per child pre-registration fee. It was further suggested that we have a second tier to our pre-registration after the first of the year in order to have a firmer commitment on the part of the parents. It was suggested this amount be $100.
The mandatory meetings will be as follows: October 11, 13 and 17 at
Motion was made by Terry Crawley and second by Ashley Kareken to approve the May minutes. Motion carried. Motion made by Lillian Milanof and second by Terry Crawley to approve the September minutes. Motion carried.
Fr. Chuck advised he attended a BBAMP meeting on September 9 and the soonest regionalization would occur would be 2007-2008. Fr. Joe Atcher will be sending an 18 page document to Buildings & Grounds to look at, as well as to the other BBAMP parishes. Each parish will also receive a survey for every parishioner to fill out and send back for tabulation regarding regionalization.
The new age representative was tabled to next meeting.
$10,761 was collected for Katrina victims and given to Catholic Charities. School students collected $1400 in pennies for penny parade which was donated to the Red Cross. There was also an abundance of clothes and toilet articles donated.

Asked if there had been any decision about purchasing the property next to the Parish house. Bill Caldwell has papers and Fr. Chuck needs to send a letter to the Archbishop. They are also getting Randy Sullivan to provide a cost estimation for raising the property.
Survey Report: John Beyke reported they have gotten 16-17% responses back. A meeting is scheduled to set up a data base for October 12.
Fr. Chuck advised he will not be at the November Parish council meeting, which is November 7.
