Book Bee is an academic competition within the Archdiocese of Louisville. Students read several books from reading lists for their grade levels during the school year. In late January, teams are chosen from each grade level which will represent the school in competitions in which students are challenged to recall details about the books. The books are chosen from the classics and recent winners of prestigious writing awards such as the Newberry Medal.
