STUDENT ART SUPPLY LIST

2005-2006

ALL STUDENTS IN GRADES PRE-K THROUGH GRADE 8:

1. Each student needs to bring a roll of paper towels.

2. Paint shirt, apron, or smock with NAME & HOMEROOM PRINTED ON IT

3. Elmer's glue (liquid) (PLEASE DO NOT SUBSTITUTE ANOTHER BRAND) Please replace when bottle is empty.

STUDENTS IN GRADES 3-8 WILL NEED:

(STUDENTS MAY USE THEIR CLASSROOM SUPPLIES FOR ART CLASS)

1. #2 pencil or a drawing pencil

2. Eraser

3. Students may also bring their own markers, rulers, crayons, colored pencils, pencils, scissors.

MISCELLANEOUS SUPPLIES:

Grade 8P: Dishwashing liquid Grade 8D: Kleenex

GRADES 7 & 8 ART PORTFOLIO

The 7/8TH graders will need to have a portfolio to keep their flat artwork in during the school year. It will be available for parents to see during conference and will be sent home at the end of the school year. Students need to make their own portfolios and bring them to art class at the beginning of the school year. Students in 8th grade who were here last year may use their 7th grade portfolios.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PORTFOLIOS:

Size: poster board size, about 22 x 28"

Materials - posterboard or cardboard , 2 pieces and duct or packing tape Assembly - Use duct/packing tape to tape one long end of one board to the other(Should be open like a book) Do not use staples; do not use masking tape; do not tape sides. Write name & homeroom on upper right corner.

DUE: at the beginning of the quarter or the semester they have art

ALL ART SUPPLIES SHOULD BE MARKED WITH NAME AND HOMEROOM.

IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO HAVE DUPLICATE SUPPLIES.

THE SAME SUPPLIES MAY BE USED FOR THE CLASSROOM AND ART CLASS.
